The University Sports Centre Leiden recently hosted the Dutch Student Powerlifting Championships (NSK Powerlifting), welcoming student athletes from across the Netherlands to compete for national student titles. Several Leiden students delivered excellent performances on the platform.
Lukas Hoogendam claimed a silver medal in the men's -83 kg category, Jason (Jia Xing) Lin took bronze in the men's -93 kg category, and Finn Groenendaal secured silver in the men's -120 kg category.
Jason also achieved an outstanding result by ranking as the third strongest student in the Netherlands overall based on his competition total.
We congratulate all participants on their achievements and are proud of the athletes who represented Leiden at this national event.
