Starting your studies in Leiden in February? Then this is the perfect time to make sports part of your new student life. During the Winter Orientation Week Leiden (OWL), the University Sports Centre (USC) is offering a special discount on sports memberships. An accessible way to stay active while also meeting other students.
During the Winter OWL, a special offer applies exclusively to new bachelor’s and master’s students. If you take out a one-year membership, you will receive a €25 discount. If you choose a six-month membership, you will receive a €10 discount. This makes it easy to combine sports with lectures, studying, and exploring Leiden.

How to Get Your Membership
There are several ways to take out a membership. You are welcome to visit one of the University Sports Centre locations, where our staff will be happy to assist you. Prefer to arrange it online? You can easily sign up via the USC website or the USC Leiden app. Choose the option that suits you best.
Work Out Where and When It Suits You
With a USC membership, you can work out at multiple locations in Leiden and The Hague. From fitness and group classes to swimming and tennis, there is always a sport that matches your interests. As an added bonus, your membership currently also gives you discounted access to ice skating at IJshal De Vliet in Leiden.
From 9 February onwards, the new sports centre in Leiden will open its doors. This modern and sustainable building is designed for comfortable and efficient training. In The Hague, renovations are also underway, with the planned relocation of USC The Buzz to the new Spuigebouw location.
