From Friday 13 March, it will temporarily not be possible to play beach volleyball at our current location. The existing beach volleyball cage will be dismantled and prepared for its relocation to an entirely new spot: the roof of the Sports Centre.
Why the beach volleyball courts are temporarily closing
Over the coming weeks, the current structure will be carefully dismantled and made ready for installation on the roof. This is a special project involving many preparatory steps, but one that will ultimately result in a fresh, new beach volleyball experience for students, staff and other players.
During this period, it will not be possible to reserve any beach volleyball courts.
New rooftop location
It’s certainly an exciting prospect: playing beach volleyball at height, on the roof of the Sports Centre, this summer. The new location is expected to be completed in April/May. As the planning still depends on the progress of the work, we will share a definitive opening date as soon as it becomes available.
What this means for you

Although we will be without a beach volleyball court for a little while, we will soon gain something truly special: a completely new beach volleyball location, on the roof. A unique sporting experience. Definitely worth the wait!
