As part of the USC hospitality team, you will work closely with the hospitality coordinator and a steady group of student employees. Together, you help ensure smooth daily operations and create a lively, friendly environment where students and visitors immediately feel at home.
What will you be doing?
- Preparing and serving food and drinks
- Assisting with catering for (hospitality) events
- Keeping the kitchen, bar and terrace clean and organised
- Identifying and handling general hospitality tasks
- Working according to HACCP regulations
- Managing inventory, placing orders and receiving deliveries
Who are we looking for?
A true team player with a hands‑on mentality, who recognises themselves in the following:
- You will be enrolled as a student at Leiden University for at least two more years
- You have a sense of responsibility, work proactively, and are motivated and accurate
- You speak fluent English (Dutch is an advantage)
- You have hospitality experience
- You are regularly available during the day
- You are willing to work during events and sports days
- You are flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends
- You are willing to follow our required first-aid (BHV) training
Shifts are scheduled in blocks of three months, possibly longer. We expect flexibility to work during special events, busy periods, or to replace regular staff when needed.
