Do you associate badminton with a relaxed game on a campsite? Think again. Badminton is the fastest racket sport in the world. It demands lightning-fast reflexes, explosive sprints, and tactical insight. You use your entire body: from jumping power in your legs to flexibility in your wrists.
At the USC, you play badminton your way. Whether you want to work up a sweat during a fanatic 'free play' session or improve your technique at the association: the combination of effort, challenge, and fun makes this the perfect workout.
During walk-in hours (‘free play’), you can join a session by booking a spot through the USC Leiden App. You’ll get to play with others who have also reserved a place. Prefer to organise your own match? Simply book a hall in the USC Leiden App and play with your friend at a time that suits you.
Do you want to seriously work on your technique and play matches? Via BSC Leiden, you can participate in the competition and internal or external tournaments in the Netherlands and abroad.
Sports are more fun together. At the open walk-in, you easily meet new people, and at the association (BSC), the 'third half' with drinks and activities is just as important as the match.
