The world upside down

Always wanted to know what it feels like to fly? With Aerial Acrobatics, you trade the floor for the air. Hanging in silks (tissues) or hoops (lyra), you combine the strength of gymnastics with the elegance of dance. It is spectacular, challenging, and an absolute killer workout for your entire body.

At the USC, you learn the techniques step by step to climb, spin, and drop safely. You build strength in your arms, back, and core incredibly fast, while working on flexibility and body control. It takes courage and perseverance, but once you nail that first 'drop', you'll never want to come down.

What do you need?

Discover Aerial Acrobatics

For the Daredevil

Do you have no fear of heights and do you love an adrenaline rush? In this class, you regularly hang upside down and learn exciting drops and spins.

For the Powerhouse

Don't be fooled by the gracefulness: this is heavy strength training. You are constantly lifting your own body weight. It is the perfect way to build strong arms and abs without boring weights.

For the Beginner

You don't have to climb to the rafters right away. We start low to the ground with basic knots and poses. Everyone can learn to fly, step by step.

All about Aerial Acrobatics

Is it dangerous?

Safety is our number one priority. We work with certified materials and thick crash mats. The instructor guides you intensively, and you always learn techniques low to the ground before going up high.

Why do I need to wear covering clothing?

This is essential to prevent friction burns ('silk burn') from the silks. Therefore, wear long, tight leggings and a shirt that covers your stomach and armpits.

Do I need gymnastics experience?

No, that is not necessary. A basic level of fitness helps, but you will build the specific strength and technique naturally during the lessons.
