A spicy sauce of passion and fun

Salsa literally means 'sauce', and that covers it perfectly. It is a spicy mix of Cuban rhythms, Caribbean styles, and pure joy of life. Salsa is all about passion, fun, and connection with the music. The hips get loose and sitting still is not an option.

At the USC, you learn the tricks of this popular dance. Whether you dance individually ('shines') or turn and swirl with a partner: the classes are a party. You work on your posture, sense of rhythm, and coordination while enjoying the wonderful latin beats.

All about Salsa

Do I need a partner?

No, that is not mandatory. During the classes, we sometimes dance individually and often switch partners when dancing in pairs. So you can perfectly come alone.

What kind of shoes should I wear?

The most important thing is that you can turn easily. Shoes with a very sticky rubber sole can be difficult for your knees. A smooth sole or dance sneakers are ideal.
