Always wanted to dance like the backup dancers for Dua Lipa or Justin Timberlake? Commercial Dance is the style you see in music videos, big shows, and on social media. It is an energetic mix of hip hop, jazz, and modern, with one clear goal: to entertain!

At the USC, you don't just learn the steps, but also how to sell them ('performance'). We dance to the biggest hits of today. Every 2 to 3 weeks we start a new choreography. The routine is repeated every lesson, so you can always join in. It's about attitude, self-confidence, and above all, a lot of fun.

Performing a choreography tightly and powerfully requires good stamina. Don't want to run out of breath during the climax of the song? Cardio and interval training in the gym provide that extra lung capacity.

It is an 'open level' class. Whether you have years of experience or are just starting out: everyone is welcome. The atmosphere is supportive and open.

Can I just join in anytime?

Yes! We learn a new routine every 2 to 3 weeks. This is repeated from the beginning every week, so even if you missed a lesson, you can pick it up right away.

What is the difference with Hip Hop?

Commercial is often a mix of styles (including hip hop), but focuses more on the 'show element' and performance as you see with pop stars. It is often a bit tighter and more commercially oriented.

What is the difference with LAK courses?
