Jamaican vibes and smooth moves

Dancehall is raw, energetic, and impossible to stand still to. In this class, we dive into the original Jamaican style, focusing on 'smooth moves' and lightning-fast footwork. It is more than just learning steps; it is a culture and a feeling.

At the USC, we create a new choreography every few weeks. We start with a good warm-up, learn the individual moves (steps), and build this into a routine that is impressive. Whether you are an experienced dancer or stepping onto the floor for the first time: come vibe with us!

All about Dancehall Fusion

What is the difference with Hip Hop?

Although they are related, Dancehall has its origins in Jamaica. The movements are often looser, more focused on the hips ('wining'), and have specific names and meanings from Jamaican culture.

Do I have to come every week?

We learn a new choreography every few weeks. It is most fun to follow the whole series so you really master the dance, but you can also join in between.

What is the difference with LAK courses?
